The loading height of all trailers has been kept as low as possible by making the top chassis fit inside the bottom chassis. Trailers are built with a box section top and bottom chassis design giving greater strength and stability. The steel extrusions are shotblasted and primed prior to fabrication to remove mill scale and ensure a good surface for paint adhesion. The trailer bodies are high volume capacity. The hinge pin is the full width of the chassis and is fitted with grease points at the bushes.  The body frame is fabricated from box section for strength and fully welded to prevent dirt and water accumulation.

Trailers designed to carry 12,000kg and over are fitted with commercial 10 stud, 125mm Ø axles with 420×180 brakes. Commercial mechanical suspension is standard on trailers of 12,000kg capacity upwards.  Trailers of 15,000kg capacity and above are fitted with four leaf springs. Trailers are fitted with a sprung drawbar as standard.

The trailers are fitted with a commercial road lighting system and the wiring is connected at waterproof junction boxes. The lights are all LED including an LED flashing warning light.  There is a stalk fitted at the front of the trailer to keep electric and braking cables tidy and away from the drawbar and dirt. The electric connection to the tractor is a removable electric coil.

Trailers are finished with 120 microns of paint, applied with an electrostatic system to ensure complete coverage. The top coat is a hard wearing two pack acrylic high gloss paint.

Standard features include: Chrome plated tipping rams, sprung drawbar, heavy duty 40mm tow eye, heavy duty tow eyes welded to rear of chassis, inspection ladder, mud wings, spray suppression flaps, ratchet style park brake, rope hooks on every body panel, LED commercial road lighting system with front, side and high level rear marker lights, stop/tail lights and flashing warning light, rear light guards and a hydraulic braking system.
