We are currently recruiting for a Harvest / Machinery Service Support Technician to join our expert team based at our headquarters in Bridgwater, Somerset.

The Role
This is a diverse and hands-on position offering an excellent mix of workshop-based and field-based work.
You will play a key role in ensuring our customers’ machinery performs at peak efficiency when it matters most — particularly during critical seasonal periods where uptime is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing, servicing and repairing a wide range of KRONE, AMAZONE and SAMSON machinery
- Carrying out scheduled servicing, routine maintenance and major repairs
- Fault-finding mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Providing technical support to customers and internal teams
- Completing pre-season preparation and in-season breakdown support
- Working closely with the service department to maintain high standards and efficiency
- Accurately completing job reports and service documentation
- Attending manufacturer training courses to stay up to date with the latest technologies and systems
This is a role where your knowledge, technical ability and problem-solving skills will be highly valued.
About You
We are looking for a motivated, reliable and highly capable technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in agricultural, plant or heavy machinery engineering
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and diagnostic skills
- A practical and proactive problem-solving mindset
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills when working with customers and colleagues
- A willingness to learn and develop through ongoing manufacturer training
Experience with KRONE, AMAZONE or SAMSON machinery would be advantageous, but it is not essential for the right candidate.
