Compass Tractors Ltd is excited to announce a new opportunity to join our skilled engineering team based at our Bridgwater depot. As one of the South of England’s premier agricultural machinery dealerships, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Agricultural Engineer to support our growing customer base and uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional service.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of cutting-edge agricultural machinery, including industry-leading brands such as Fendt, Krone, Amazone, Sumo, and more. This dynamic role will involve both depot-based and mobile fieldwork, giving engineers the opportunity to work closely with our customers to ensure their machinery is always running at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Performing scheduled maintenance and repairs on-site and in the workshop

Diagnosing faults using advanced diagnostic tools

Carrying out pre-delivery inspections on new equipment

Promoting the full range of Compass Tractors services and support

Accurately completing job reports and records using the Ibcos Gold Service App

Participating in ongoing training and development through manufacturer-led courses

Collaborating with customers, colleagues, manufacturers, and suppliers to maintain high service standards
What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in a similar agricultural engineering role

Strong mechanical knowledge of modern agricultural equipment

Good communication and IT skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
